On September 2nd 2023, our team of Ryan Kim, JC Edmalin, Declan Burke, Edward Kim, Camilo Choi, and I volunteered at the World Harvest Food Bank and then donated 360 pounds of crates of food worth 600 dollars to Alexandria House.

We worked at the food bank, helping with sorting and organization, wrapping and packaging food, and distribution assistance.

We spent a significant portion of our time sorting through donated items, from food, clothing, and other necessities. This work was vital in insuring the organization of the food bank's inventory and ensuring that only safe and usable items are distributed.

Another critical task was packaging items and helping load them. We unloaded crates of new items as well as loaded boxes onto large crates that were taken to other distrbution points. Because of recent rain, we helped covering the inventory in multiple layers of plastic wrap to prevent any damage.

After a productive day at the food bank, we transported 360 pounds of food items to Alexandria House. This organization provides vital shelter and support to women and children facing homelessness, and our contribution was aimed at directly aiding their efforts. Our donations included a variety of foods including raw fruits and vegetables, bread, drinks, and some canned non perishables.

we are greatly looking to expanding our distrbution cycle across Sourthern California and applying our model to increase the amount of food that is brought to people in need.
